January 27, 2023: Tekonsha, MI 49092 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI) and the host Tekonsha Indians (Tekonsha, MI), saw Burr Oak's basketball squad hold off Tekonsha by a tally of 42-35.
With the victory, Burr Oak improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI) to confront the Rams in a Southern Central challenge on Monday, January 30. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Next up, the Indians confront the Athens Indians (Athens, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 30. Tekonsha will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 80-51 league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, MI).
