Oregon High School Basketball - Lake Oswego nips Grant
December 9, 2014: Lake Oswego, OR 97034 Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Grant Generals (Portland, OR), 54-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Oswego upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lakers host South Eugene (Eugene, OR) to play the Axemen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Axemen come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Generals play the Central Catholic Rams (Portland, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 12. Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 76-46 non-league win over Liberty (Hillsboro, OR).
