Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Episcopal School of Jacksonville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Southwest (Macon, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Southwest won 70-45 in their recent non-league bout against Howard (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Atomsmashers play the Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 84-70 non-league win over Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC).
