Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), saw Nevada Union's baseball squad knock off Oakmont by a count of 5-2.

Coming up next, the Miners play the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a Sierra Foothill battle, on Wednesday, April 1. Nevada Union will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
