Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), 62-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bishop upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 5-6. South San Antonio lost 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Falls (League City, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, December 15. Vista Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 61-44 non-league win over Coppell (Coppell, TX).
