York Dukes (York, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 58-50 in a league bout.

With the win, York upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Dukes host Aurora (Aurora, NE) to play the Huskies in a B District 6 bout on Friday, December 14. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Aurora won 77-27 in their recent non-league bout against Central City (Central City, NE)

Next up, the Minutemen play the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 18. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
