The West Central Area/Ashby thwarted the visiting Sauk Centre Mainstreeters football team by a count of 20-7 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, West Central Area/Ashby upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The travel to Osakis (Osakis, MN) to encounter the Silverstreaks in a non-league outing on Friday, November 5. The Silverstreaks go into the outing with a record of 8-1. Osakis won 34-19 in their recent non-league outing against Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN)

With the loss, Sauk Centre moves to 5-6 on the season.
