Match Summary
Twenty Five is not only the number to win a set in volleyball. It is the number of times Carroll was aced tonight. Seven years ago, we were chewed up by Clinton Central on serve, but that team would win 30 matches and play in a Regional Final. Tonight, a 1-15 team was mentally tougher, played better defense, better offense, and owned us when we were in serve receive. If Jeff had not missed as many serves as they did (15), they would have walked out of Memorial Gym with the win. To be blunt, the better team did not win tonight.
