Illinois High School Basketball - Pearl City overwhelmed by Amboy
November 27, 2023: Pearl City, IL 61062 The Amboy Clippers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Pearl City Wolves to 13 in the Clippers non-league victory on Monday.
The Clippers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Polo for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest on Friday, December 1. Amboy will battle a Marcos team coming off a 43-32 non-league win over Durand (Durand, IL). The Marcos record now stands at 2-2.
The Wolves (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Forreston was routed by Dakota (Dakota, IL), 39-36, in a non-league contest.
