Massachusetts High School Softball - Greater Lawrence Tech bounces Mount Alvernia
May 18, 2018: Andover, MA 01810 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies (Andover, MA) and the visiting Mount Alvernia Mustangs (Newton, MA), witnessed Greater Lawrence Tech's softball squad prevail over Mount Alvernia by a count of 20-4.
The Reggies now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Methuen for a non-league match on Monday, May 21. Greater Lawrence Tech will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lowell (Lowell, MA). The Rangers record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, Mount Alvernia moves to 1-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Everett (Everett, MA) to meet the Crimson Tide in a non-league match on Monday, May 21. The Crimson Tide go into the match with a record of 9-8. Everett won 15-1 in their recent league match against Somerville (Somerville, MA)
