Mississippi High School Basketball - DeSoto Central fells Forest
December 29, 2023: Forest, MS 39074 DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), 30-16 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DeSoto Central upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Brandon (Brandon, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Brandon lost 46-35 in their recent non-league bout against Terry (Terry, MS)
Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 46-16 league win over J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS).
