Tennessee High School Baseball - Covington wallops Jackson
March 24, 2018: Covington, TN 38019 Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO), 11-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Covington improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Doral Academy (Doral, FL) to clash with the Firebirds in a non-league match on Monday, March 26. The Firebirds go into the match with a record of 9-4. Doral Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Belen Jesuit (Miami, FL)
The Fighting Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO). The Dragons go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record.
