Texas High School Basketball - Hays crushes Bryan
December 29, 2022: Bryan, TX 77802 Hays Hawks (Buda, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bryan Vikings (Bryan, TX), 56-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hays upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX) to play the Timberwolves in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Cedar Park won 79-31 in their recent league bout against Lockhart (Lockhart, TX)
Next up, the Vikings play the Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Bryan will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 47-42 non-league win over Navasota (Navasota, TX).
