Connecticut High School Football - Holy Cross succumbs to Naugatuck
November 12, 2010: Naugatuck, CT 06770 The Naugatuck Greyhounds thwarted the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders football team by a count of 24-13 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Naugatuck advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, CT) to face the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 25. The Chargers enter the bout with a record of 9-0. Ansonia won 55-21 in their recent league bout against Seymour (Seymour, CT)
The Crusaders (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Wolcott defeated Kennedy (Waterbury, CT), 28-14, in a non-league bout.
