California High School Basketball - East Bakersfield tops South
February 5, 2022: Bakersfield, CA 93304 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the East Bakersfield Blades (Bakersfield, CA) and the host South Rebels (Bakersfield, CA), saw East Bakersfield's basketball squad knock off South by a tally of 51-41.
With the victory, East Bakersfield improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Blades host North (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Stars in a Southeast Yosemite challenge on Monday, February 7. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. North lost 63-59 in their recent league challenge against Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA)
Next up, the Rebels play the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) in a Southeast Yosemite challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. South will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 44-25 league win over Foothill (Bakersfield, CA).
