Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Milton nips Southern Columbia Area
December 20, 2016: Catawissa, PA 17820 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA) and the host Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA), saw Milton's basketball squad hold off Southern Columbia Area by a count of 62-57.
With the victory, Milton upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Black Panthers host Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA) to play the Seals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Seals come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Selinsgrove won 52-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a Heartland II challenge, on Friday, December 23. Southern Columbia Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Hughesville (Hughesville, PA).
