North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford overwhelms High Point Central

January 4, 2019: High Point, NC 27262

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Southwest Guilford's basketball squad wallop High Point Central by a tally of 86-59.

With the victory, Southwest Guilford improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a Piedmont Triad 3A challenge on Monday, January 7. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Ben L. Smith lost 56-51 in their recent league challenge against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Bison play the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 9. High Point Central will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
