The David City Scouts basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Shelby-Rising City Huskies to 37 in the Scouts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Scouts now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9.

Next up, the Huskies play the Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE) in a D1 District 7 bout, on Friday, February 10. Shelby-Rising City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record.
