Alabama High School Basketball - Buckhorn holds off Scottsboro
December 6, 2022: Scottsboro, AL 35768 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) and the host Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL), saw Buckhorn's basketball squad hold off Scottsboro by a tally of 61-60.
With the victory, Buckhorn improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bucks host Austin (Decatur, AL) to confront the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Austin won 80-72 in their recent non-league challenge against Hartselle (Hartselle, AL)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Fairview Aggies (Cullman, AL) in a 5A Area 14 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Scottsboro will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Aggies come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 87-55 league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL).
