Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Islanders host San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 13. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 3-9. San Dieguito Academy lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA)

With the defeat, La Jolla falls to 6-9 on the season. The Vikings host Coronado (Coronado, CA) to battle the Islanders in a Western test on Thursday, April 14. The Islanders come into the test with a record of 9-7. Coronado won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA)
