The McDowell Trojans basketball team scored 95 points and held the visiting Strong Vincent Colonels to 10 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North East for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1.

The Colonels (0-12) will now prepare for their bout against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators come into the non-league bout with a 13-2 record. In their last bout, Gateway was crushed by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 58-40, in a non-league bout.
