The Uintah Utes crushed the host Farmington Scorpions baseball team by a count of 11-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Utes now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Box Elder for a bout on Wednesday, March 23.

Next, the Scorpions face the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 18. Farmington will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 11-1 non-league win over St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
