In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball squad edged the host Elbert Bulldogs (Elbert, CO), by a count of 31-28.

The Hornets (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Pikes Peak Christian (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles go into the 1A Black Forrest outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Pikes Peak Christian held off Cripple Creek-Victor (Cripple Creek, CO), 58-32, in a non-league outing.
