Mississippi High School Basketball - Central fells Tupelo
November 25, 2023: Tupelo, MS 38801 Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS), 63-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers host West Memphis (West Memphis, AR) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-3. West Memphis lost 72-41 in their recent non-league bout against North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR)
Next up, the Golden Wave clash with the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Tupelo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 54-14 non-league win over Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS).
