Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Yough overwhelmed by Geibel Catholic
December 13, 2017: Herminie, PA 15637 The Geibel Catholic Gators basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Yough Cougars to 24 in the Gators non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Gators now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mapletown for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21.
The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Leopards come into the WPIAL 4A 3 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Belle Vernon triumphed over Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA), 63-45, in a non-league contest.
