Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league test on Friday, August 20. Fort Bend Kempner will confront a team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The record now stands at 5-16.

The Bearcats (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Sealy (Sealy, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Sealy was knocked off by Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
