Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Baldwin topped by Kiski Area
December 30, 2014: Vandergrift, PA 15690 The Kiski Area Cavaliers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Baldwin Highlanders to 49 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton LaSalle for a non-league contest on Friday, January 2. Kiski Area will battle a Rebels team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-1.
The Highlanders (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Shaler Area prevailed over Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA), 68-61, in a non-league contest.
