Wisconsin High School Basketball - Omro knocked off by Howards Grove
January 8, 2022: Howards Grove, WI 53083 The Howards Grove Tigers basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Omro Foxes to 68 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary Catholic for a Big East - North contest on Tuesday, January 11. Howards Grove will battle a Zephyrs team coming off a 62-38 non-league loss to Roncalli (Manitowoc, WI). The Zephyrs record now stands at 8-2.
The Foxes (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lomira (Lomira, WI). The Lions enter the Flyway match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Lomira overcame Berlin (Berlin, WI), 51-49, in a non-league match.
