Oklahoma High School Basketball - Burlington crushes Deer Creek-Lamont

Burlington Elks (Burlington, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles (Lamont, OK), 72-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burlington upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Elks travel to Garber (Garber, OK) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 2. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Garber won 96-45 in their recent league bout against Covington-Douglas (Covington, OK)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 1. Deer Creek-Lamont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 51-49 non-league win over Morrison (Morrison, OK).
