October 12, 2018: St. Marys, PA 15857 In Friday's non-league game, the Elk County Catholic Crusaders (St. Marys, PA) football team smashed the visiting Sheffield Wolverines (Sheffield, PA), by a score of 46-6.
The Crusaders (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Keystone (Knox, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Keystone was ripped by Smethport (Smethport, PA), 37-0, in a league game.
The Wolverines now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley for a District 9 - Small game on Saturday, October 20. Sheffield will meet a team coming off a 48-14 league loss to Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The record now stands at 3-5.
