Illinois High School Basketball - Westfair Christian ripped by Lutheran
January 3, 2023: Jacksonville, IL 62650 The Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Westfair Christian to 30 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Illini Central for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Lutheran will battle a Cougars team coming off a 70-48 league win over Midwest Central (Manito, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 6-5.
The (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Maryville Christian triumphed over First Baptist Academy (O'Fallon, IL), 47-28, in a non-league contest.
