The University Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Burnet Bulldogs to 38 in the Trojans non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. University will battle a Eagles team coming off a 84-71 non-league win over Willis (Willis, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-8.

The Bulldogs (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Willis (Willis, TX). The Wildkats come into the non-league contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Willis was defeated by Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX), 84-71, in a non-league contest.
