With the victory, Menard upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. Next up, the Panthers play the McMullen County Cowboys (Tilden, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 17. Nueces Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 86-46 non-league win over Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX).
