In Saturday's non-league outing, the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), by a margin of 44-34.

The Rockets (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers go into the Fox Valley outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Dundee-Crown was beaten by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 54-16, in a league outing.

The Storm now own a 18-5 record. They play next when they host Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight outing on Tuesday, January 25.
