Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Stallions confront the Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A challenge, on Thursday, October 21. Queen's Grant will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.

The Wildcats now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a Metro Eight 1A challenge on Tuesday, October 19. Sugar Creek will confront a Bears team coming off a 7-3 league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Bears record now stands at 8-6.
