The Neches Tigers topped the host Leon Cougars basketball team by a final score of 36-24 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Slocum Mustangs (Elkhart, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 23. Neches will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 49-29 non-league loss to Chireno (Chireno, TX).
