McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Enka Jets (Enka, NC), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Titans travel to Chase (Forest City, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, April 11. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 6-5. Chase won 16-1 in their recent league test against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

With the defeat, Enka falls to 5-7 on the season. The Jets host Rosman (Rosman, NC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 13. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-9.
