New Jersey High School Basketball - Kinnelon overwhelmed by Westwood
December 28, 2022: Washington Township, NJ 07676 The Westwood Cardinals basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Kinnelon Colts to 46 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mahwah for a Big North - Patriot contest on Tuesday, January 3. Westwood will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 51-43 non-league win over Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-4.
The Colts (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks come into the Northwest Jersey - Independence contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Parsippany was routed by Westwood (Washington Township, NJ), 71-45, in a non-league contest.
