The Ashley Screaming Eagle crushed the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Screaming Eagle now possess a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Friday, March 22. Ashley will face a Trojans team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.

Next, the Scorpions face the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout, on Friday, March 22. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 6-3 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
