The North Buncombe Black Hawks got by the visiting Enka Jets softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Black Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars go into the The Mountain 3A/4A battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Asheville was edged by McDowell (Marion, NC), 25-0, in a league battle.
