February 19, 2011: Florence, NJ 08518 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pemberton Hornets (Pemberton, NJ) and the host Florence Township Memorial Flashes (Florence, NJ), saw Pemberton's basketball squad hold off Florence Township Memorial by a score of 43-40.
With the victory, Pemberton improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Hornets host Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 19-4.
Next up, the Flashes battle the Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 23. Florence Township Memorial will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 59-57 league loss to Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ).
