January 4, 2024: Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) and the visiting Pullman Greyhounds (Pullman, WA), saw Lakeside's basketball squad overcome Pullman by a tally of 55-35.
With the victory, Lakeside improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Deer Park (Deer Park, WA) to confront the Stags in a 1A Northeast challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Stags come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Deer Park won 61-43 in their recent league challenge against Freeman (Rockford, WA)
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the East Valley Knights (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Pullman will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA).
