Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Caliche Buffaloes (Iliff, CO) and the visiting Briggsdale Falcons (Briggsdale, CO), saw Caliche's baseball squad beat Briggsdale by a margin of 15-3.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) in a 2A/1A Lower Platte battle, on Saturday, April 9. Caliche will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 18-10 non-league win over Yuma (Yuma, CO).

The Falcons now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haxtun for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 7. Briggsdale will play a Fightin' Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Wiggins (Wiggins, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
