Minnesota High School Basketball - Perham overwhelms Battle Lake
December 15, 2017: Perham, MN 56573 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) and the visiting Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN), saw Perham's basketball squad wallop Battle Lake by a count of 68-29.
With the victory, Perham upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Barnesville (Barnesville, MN) to play the Trojans in a Heart O'Lakes challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Barnesville won 57-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Rothsay (Rothsay, MN)
Next up, the Battlers play the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Battle Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 66-45 league loss to Ortonville (Ortonville, MN).
