Connecticut High School Softball - Seymour bounces Holy Cross
April 21, 2018: Waterbury, CT 06708 Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), 15-9 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Torrington for a Naugatuck Valley - Brass challenge on Monday, April 23. Seymour will battle a Red Raiders squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Holy Cross falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Ansonia (Ansonia, CT) to battle the Chargers in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass challenge on Monday, April 23. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Ansonia lost 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Derby (Derby, CT)
