Iowa High School Basketball - Glidden-Ralston ripped by Madrid
February 2, 2023: Madrid, IA 50156 The Madrid Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Glidden-Ralston Wildcats to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center for a West Central contest on Tuesday, February 7. Madrid will battle a team coming off a 64-59 non-league loss to Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA). The record now stands at 11-7.
The Wildcats (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against CAM (Anita, IA). The Cougars enter the Rolling Hills contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, CAM triumphed over Audubon (Audubon, IA), 45-38, in a non-league contest.
