January 20, 2023: Dover, OH 44622 In Friday's non-league outing, the Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV), by a margin of 65-40.
The Crimson Tornadoes (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Perry (Massillon, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Perry was trounced by GlenOak (Canton, OH), 64-55, in a league outing.
The Maroon Knights now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a Ohio Valley A match on Tuesday, January 24. Wheeling Central Catholic will meet a Warriors team coming off a 68-37 league win over Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
