North Carolina High School Baseball - Cuthbertson wallops Paul VI
April 14, 2012: Waxhaw, NC 28173 Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Paul VI Panthers (Fairfax, VA), 11-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cuthbertson upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to battle the Cougars in a 2A/1A Rocky River test on Wednesday, April 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 4-7.
With the defeat, Paul VI falls to 9-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to battle the Cardinals in a VISAA Division 1 test on Tuesday, April 17. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 11-6. Bishop Ireton won 6-5 in their recent league test against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD)
