Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hardin County Cougars (Elizabethtown, IL), 87-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Meridian upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Cahokia (Cahokia, IL) to play the Comanches in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Comanches come into the bout with a record of 3-12. Cahokia won 53-44 in their recent league bout against Marion (Marion, IL)
