The Connellsville Falcons basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Southmoreland Scotties to 25 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albert Gallatin for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Thursday, January 12. Connellsville will meet a Colonials team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 3-8.

The Scotties (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ringgold (Monongahela, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL 4A 3 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Ringgold triumphed over Uniontown (Uniontown, PA), 50-49, in a league contest.
